My Journey: From Overwhelmed to Empowered
Hi, I’m Faye, a Health and Wellbeing Coach, business owner, wife, and mum of two wonderful kids. Like many women my age, I have often found myself balancing at the edge, between school runs and football matches, keeping a business (and household) running, and more recently thinking about how I can support my parents and in-laws as they age.
Many women I know are part of what is known as the sandwich generation: Caring for both children and ageing parents. It’s a space where love runs deep, but time often runs out. We're the squeezed middle: cash-rich but time-poor, holding careers, homes, relationships and entire family systems together. And often, we do it quietly, carrying the mental load that seems to come automatically with being a woman.
My Challenge
Fifteen years ago, I found myself facing a personal crisis. On paper, I was successful—a Tax Manager in a corporate role, praised for my performance. But under the surface, I was in a constant state of anxiety. I worried about everything:
Was I good enough? What if I failed? How would I get it all done?
Why couldn’t I just feel calm and in control? The burden of worry, perfectionism, and pressure became overwhelming. The challenge wasn’t just external. It was the internal battle with myself. My health and wellbeing were quietly deteriorating, and no one really knew. Like so many women, I pushed through, smiled (to everyone except close family), and got the job done.
Finding a New Path
After stepping away from my corporate role for a career break, I gave myself permission to explore something new. I started studying Nutrition—initially for myself—and during that time, I discovered Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and coaching. These weren’t just tools. They were a solution to the way I had been living.
Through NLP and coaching, I learned to change my relationship with worry and pressure. I uncovered deep insights into how we think, feel, and behave—and more importantly, how we can change those patterns. I became a Master Practitioner in NLP, and it became clear: I wanted to use these tools to support other women, just like me.
Movement as a Lifeline
As I built my coaching business, I noticed something powerful: the days I moved my body—even just a short walk—were the days I felt more like me. More focused. More present. More confident. It wasn’t about punishing workouts or gym schedules—it was about movement as medicine for the mind.
We know exercise is good for us. But when you're holding everything together—when you're the organiser, the caregiver, the emotional anchor—it's often the first thing to go. And yet, the cost of putting yourself last can be immense.
The Solution I Now Offer
Today, my work is about real solutions for real women—especially those in the thick of it. My mission is to help women in midlife who feel stretched, stuck, or simply tired of always being the one who holds it all together.
Through coaching, mindset work, and sustainable movement practices, I help you reconnect with yourself—to feel stronger, clearer, and more in control. Not because life gets less busy, but because you start showing up differently in it.
You don’t have to wait until everyone else is sorted to start taking care of you.
Are you ready to feel like yourself again and/or is it time to change things up - the things that you can change?
Let’s create space for your health, your energy, and your voice—because you matter too.
